Salary: Level B - $124,656 - $148,023 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 17% superannuation

Your next career opportunity

As a Lecturer in Educational Psychology, you will have the opportunity to teach and supervise postgraduate students in the Master of Psychology (Educational & Developmental) and PhD programs. You will develop a research profile that aligns with the Learning Intervention Academic Group's aims, contributing to innovative curriculum development and community engagement. This role offers the chance to mentor staff, collaborate with key stakeholders, and shape the future of psychology education and practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

* Lead Research and Training: Develop research programmes, supervise PhD and Masters projects, and secure competitive funding.
* Innovate Teaching and Learning: Design inclusive curricula, provide academic guidance, and contribute to pedagogical research.
* Foster Engagement and Leadership: Participate in community engagement, support professional innovations, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
* Support Administrative and Service Roles: Complete administrative activities, liaise with faculty staff, and attend meetings and committees.

You may be a great fit if:

You will be an experienced psychologist with a PhD, possessing a high-quality teaching record and a strong understanding of educational and developmental psychology practices, ready to contribute to curriculum development and research supervision.

You may also:

* Have full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA and recent practical experience.
* Demonstrate knowledge of the Master of Psychology programme at the University of Melbourne.
* Possess experience in supervising higher degree research students.
* Have AHPRA endorsement as an Educational and Developmental Psychologist.
* Be capable of applying for competitive grant applications and external research funding.
