Job Overview
Electrical technicians play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment on site.
* Responsibilities include pre-commissioning and SAT of low voltage and instrument systems, including LV, UPS, and battery testing, telemetry systems, Wimax, LTE, and Fibre optic communications network testing, VSD configuration and testing, and pre-commissioning and SAT of all site equipment.
* Ensuring compliance with Hazardous Area installation standards and willingness to assist Electrical construction team when required.
* Completing quality documentation on electronic construction and completions systems, including FICs, ITRs, As-builts reports, and punch lists.
The ideal candidate will have a QLD Electrical trade qualification, LV rescue, and CPR qualifications, as well as Cert III or IV instrumentation. They will also possess 5+ years of post-trade experience on a large-scale project and a current QLD Driver's license. An understanding and demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety, risk management, and hazard identification are essential.
