Bradco Holdings Pty Ltd is hiring a full-time Stonemason role in Clontarf, QLD. Apply now to be part of our team. We are a manufacturer of domestic and commercial stone and recon stone kitchen benchtops and associated products, with a state-of-the-art plant and equipment in a clean, open working environment.
Location: Clontarf, Redcliffe, Queensland. Job type: Full-time. Salary: $75,000 – $77,000 per year. Schedule: 8-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
Working from templates and engineering drawings to set out stone
Set stone or marble in place according to layout or pattern
Shape, trim, face and cut marble or stone using power saws, cutting equipment and hand tools
Drill holes in marble or ornamental stone and anchor brackets
Smooth, polish and bevel surfaces with hand and power tools
Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
Unloading and loading stone slabs with overhead crane
Bridge saw cutting, Intermac (water jet) use, line polishing of stone
Hand cutting, grinding and polishing
Gluing with stone glue and clamping
Work on residential and commercial sites
Interact with the public on homeowners and commercial projects
Work with Supervisory Tradesman and follow directions and training

Qualifications
Experienced, quality tradesperson; trade-qualified Stone Mason or relevant experience
Minimum 5 years' experience
Skilled in polishing synthetic and natural stone
Skilled in stone and masonry installation
Skilled in fabrication and installation of stone kitchen and bathroom benchtops
Able to work unsupervised; highly motivated with good eye for detail
Enthusiastic, positive attitude and ability to work in a team with minimal supervision

Remuneration
Remuneration will be $75,000-$77,000 per annum and will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates. To be discussed with the successful applicant.
