Reading CAD designs from the Design and Drafting Team

**Company and you**:
Engineering company looking to expand their production team in Sydney - Ryde. They employ more than 500 and due to increased work orders within their Waste Water and Mining divisions they require a machine technician / setter.
Applicants will be able to a CAD design in 2d preferably 3D. You will have a TAFE qualification within engineering, either fitting, machining, casting etc with at least 2 years' experience as a trades assistant in an engineering workshop / production / manufacturing environment. Excellent mechanical and hydraulic skills as well as communication and presentation skills are required.
Offering between $65,000 to $75,000k base for the right individual + Super and Over Time.
**Your responsibilities include, but will not be limited to**:
- Reading CAD designs from the Design and Drafting Team
- Configuring machinery in accordance to the design to construct the moulds
- Mould setting and general maintenance of mould machinery
- Mechanical troubleshooting and awareness of technical issues after mould set up
- Stripping and cleaning of machinery and tools / adhere to OH&S regulations
- Preventative maintenance of tooling equipment
- Responsible for overseeing and managing the breakdowns
- Completing all administrative processing requirements
- Learn about Lean standards within an Engineering & Production environment
- Respond to Quality Assurance and Control issues as and when they arise
