Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Governance Professional to join our team and drive transparency, accountability, and best-practice governance to support sound decision-making and regulatory excellence.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of sound governance frameworks and practices across the organisation, working closely with senior leaders, regulators, and internal stakeholders to ensure we remain a leader in governance excellence.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Supporting corporate governance obligations and embedding industry best practices.
* Assisting with regulatory engagement, including submissions to relevant authorities.
* Maintaining key governance documents such as trust deeds, charters, and delegations of authority.
* Supporting the company secretary and CEO's office with governance-related activities.
* Managing governance records in the GRC system and advising on policy development.
* Preparing reports and submissions for various committees and the board.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3-5 years' experience in governance, compliance, or legal roles.
* A strong understanding of the financial services or superannuation industry.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A working knowledge of relevant legislation is highly desirable.
* A degree in law or governance-related qualifications is preferred.
