 
        
        SEWB Remote Community Mentor (Darwin/Nhulunbuy) 
We are looking for a dedicated SEWB Remote Community Mentor to lead community capacity-building projects that strengthen local responses to suicide and self-harm across East Arnhem Land. This role provides on-the-ground mentoring and guidance to SEWB Community Workers, empowering Yolŋu staff through training, support, and skill development. 
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and collaborator who can engage with community members, stakeholders, and organisations to develop sustainable, community-led initiatives. Regular travel to remote communities is required. 
Benefits 
- Competitive salary of $121,301 per annum + 12% superannuation 
- Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900pa plus a further $2,650pa on Meals and Entertainment

Essential Requirements 
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of and commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination 
- Proven experience supervising or leading teams in remote Aboriginal communities 
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and significant experience mentoring Aboriginal staff 
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills 
- Ability to collaborate effectively to achieve outcomes
