Program Details
We have openings for 2+ new candidates located in both the Southside and Northside Region of Brisbane. The role is a paid, on‑site position for up to 5 days per week during school terms. It is very complimentary for University students currently studying IT who can provide from 1 to 3 days per week during school terms.

Ideally suited to those who have a strong interest in IT Networking or Troubleshooting. Prior experience and qualifications will be considered but are not necessary.

Role Description and Duties
The Career Program provides Level 1 and Level 2 IT Network support to QLD Education schools located in the Greater Brisbane Region. After the initial training phase (which can be anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks depending solely upon the efforts and abilities of the individual) you will start on an hourly part‑time basis at $32.12/hr including super and annual/personal leave entitlements.
During your training phase, you will be accompanied by a mentor chosen from our team of experienced network technicians until deemed capable of providing effective network support unassisted. At all times during the program you will have ready access to other trainees and technicians located at schools throughout Brisbane.
Full details of the program will be provided during the first round interviews.
Requirements
1. Fluent in verbal and written English.
2. Strong desire to start a career in IT.
3. Willing and helpful attitude.
4. Excellent communication skills.
5. Reliable, honest and self‑motivated.
6. Pass the security requirements to obtain a QLD Government Blue Card licence and pass a police check.
7. Valid Australian Driver's Licence and full access to a registered vehicle.
8. Australian citizenship.
Preferred Skills and Experience
* Ability to multi‑task and prioritize while ensuring care and accuracy.
* Industry qualifications in IT.
* QLD Orange Card qualification.
* Average to high fitness level – fast walking is involved.
* Prior experience in hospitality/customer service sector.
* Experience in desktop imaging, basic deployments, printer management, general desktop fault finding and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
