About the Role
As a Short Term Planner, you will create, manage, and optimize executable maintenance work orders aligned with asset strategy and operational goals. Youll work across multiple teams and sites, ensuring timely, efficient maintenance execution while adapting to fast-changing requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and prioritise maintenance notifications and allocate resources
- Plan and schedule non-urgent maintenance tasks with accurate labour and downtime estimates
- Analyse maintenance history and update records for continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on budget vs actual spend, escalating major variances
- Engage contractors and manage CMS processes for planner-driven work
- Consolidate and sequence work packages to optimise maintenance efficiency
- Participate in planning meetings to finalise executable schedules
- Identify maintenance strategy improvements and implement changes
Skills and Experience Required
- Proficiency in Prometheus (preferred), SAP, and MS Suite
- Strong experience with HME, fixed and mobile plant assets
- Ability to work flexibly across sites and teams
- High attention to detail in planning, budgeting, and analysis
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Prior experience with short-term planning in maintenance environments
