The Role
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality civil designs across a range of projects, including subdivisions, roadworks, and infrastructure developments. Working closely with engineers and project teams, you will be responsible for producing detailed 12D designs, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring outputs meet project and client standards.
This role will suit someone who enjoys a hands‐on design position while also contributing to team development and project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver detailed civil designs using 12D across a variety of projects
* Produce design documentation including plans, profiles, and cross‐sections
* Undertake earthworks modelling, road design, drainage layouts, and lot grading
* Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project stakeholders
* Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and client requirements
* Support project delivery from concept through to construction
* Review and check drawings and mentor junior designers where required
About You
* Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Design or related discipline
* 5–10+ years' experience in civil design
* Strong proficiency in 12D software
* Experience across land development, subdivisions, or infrastructure projects
* Solid understanding of Australian standards and local authority requirements
* Strong technical capability in earthworks, road design, and drainage
* Ability to manage priorities and work across multiple projects
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
