About the Role
This is a full-time, permanent position requiring an experienced and dedicated information technology professional. The successful candidate will support Good Shepherd Catholic College, Mount Isa, and other schools within the diocese.
The Service Delivery Specialist (SDS) maintains existing services to achieve TCE's strategic outcomes. They will apply technical and other skills to successfully carry out the support of services defined in the service catalogue.
The SDS will work with the Service Delivery Lead to monitor and manage Service Delivery Services across TCE. They will be the first line of support for service desk operators in the lifecycle of an incident, utilising their experience and skills to solve technical issues.
The key accountabilities of this role include:
* Executing incident resolution via diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical issues
* Assisting with the monitoring and management of server performance, software, hardware, and services
* Creating and maintaining technical documentation
* Providing complex problem analysis to maintain system performance
* Reducing operational risk and improving server infrastructure availability
The ideal candidate will have at least three years' experience in ICT roles, demonstrable experience in managing IT infrastructure, and ability to show initiative, solve problems, and contribute to process improvement.
Tertiary qualifications in a related field or equivalent experience are required, as well as current working with children suitability card eligibility. The successful candidate will also require a paid blue card prior to commencement.
