About the Role
Personal Care Assistant (cleaning included) to join our Home Care team in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. This casual role involves working ad hoc shifts as needed. Salary ranges from $33.68 to $35.56 per hour, based on skills and experience.
Key duties include travelling to clients' homes to provide in‐home cleaning, attending appointments, and general care tasks in accordance with the approved care plan. High‐clean duties such as windows and ceiling fan cleaning are also required. Candidates must be able to complete allocated cleaning tasks and have a reliable, fully insured vehicle.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in cleaning (domestic or commercial).
* Experience assisting with activities of daily living in a community or home‐care setting.
* Comfortable performing primarily cleaning tasks within a care environment.
* Current NT driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
* Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work within a culturally diverse team.
* Capability to undertake manual handling functions related to the role.
* Comfortable using mobile phone apps and working remotely.
