Senior Nursing Leadership — Rural & Remote Health

About The Role
As the Director of Nursing Coordinator/Reliever, you will provide high‐level operational and professional nursing leadership across North West Rural and Remote Health Facilities. Working closely with executive leaders and multidisciplinary teams, you will shape clinical and corporate governance, oversee service delivery and workforce performance, and ensure culturally safe, person‐centred care for diverse communities. The role includes relieving in remote outreach facilities and holds responsibility for multiple sites and cost centres.
Responsibilities
* Providing autonomous, expert nursing leadership across clinical governance, service delivery, workforce, resource and financial management.
* Leading and supporting safe, high‐quality, culturally responsive care aligned with national standards, regulatory frameworks and performance targets.
* Collaborating with executive leaders, multidisciplinary teams and community stakeholders to deliver effective, innovative models of care.
Benefits
* Isolation bonus: AUD$3,605 for 1 year, AUD$10,815 for 2 years, AUD$7,210 for the 3rd year and each subsequent year (pro rata for part‐time).
* Two return airfares per annum (full‐time employees, including spouse/dependents) or one return airfare per annum (part‐time employees) to the nearest east‐coast provincial city in conjunction with recreation leave.

Qualifications & Requirements
* A relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Proof of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis; evidence of vaccination may be required.
* Pre‐employment screening including criminal history checks.
* Potential probation period.
