About the Role
As a Business Development Representative, you will play a key role in growing
LifeX's referral network by building and maintaining strong relationships with used
car dealerships, automotive partners, and other referral sources. You will introduce
LifeX's lending services, educate partners on our process, and generate qualified
referrals for our broker team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship-based sales and
wants to build a long-term career pathway into the finance industry. With structured
internal training and ongoing support, high performers may progress into a broker
pathway over time.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and approach potential referral partners such as used car dealerships,
car yards, and automotive-related businesses
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners through regular visits,
calls, and follow-ups
* Present LifeX's lending service value clearly and professionally to partners
* Educate partners on the referral process, required documents, and service
expectations
* Collect and pass qualified referrals to the broker team in a timely manner
* Maintain basic records of partner contacts, follow-ups, and referral status
* Work closely with internal brokers and operations to ensure smooth handover
and partner satisfaction
* Represent LifeX professionally and align with compliance and service
standardsWhat We're Looking For
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence speaking to
business owners and decision-makers
* Bilingual communication skills (English + Chinese) are required to support a
diverse client and partner base
* A proactive, self-motivated attitude and willingness to work in a field-based
role
* Ability to handle rejection and remain consistent with follow-ups
* Interest in sales, relationship management, and the finance/lending industry
* Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development is
an advantage (but not required)
* A valid driver's licence and ability to travel locally (preferred)
* Professional presentation and strong time management skills
