What You Will Be Doing Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines to process large-scale datasets from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.Data Architecture & Modelling: Develop and implement data architecture and modelling strategies that support real-time and batch data processing with a focus on performance and scalability.Data Integration: Integrate, transform, and enrich data from a variety of internal and external sources to support both operational and analytical use cases.Optimisation & Performance Tuning: Analyse and enhance data ingestion, processing, and storage performance; optimise ETL/ELT workflows for efficiency.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data needs, deliver solutions, and provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members.Data Governance: Uphold and implement data governance standards, ensuring compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough documentation of data engineering processes and provide regular insights on system performance and data usage. What You Need Educational Background Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. Professional Experience 5 years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of delivering complex data solutions.Previous experience in a client-facing or consulting capacity is highly desirable. Technical Skills Palantir Foundry expertise or experience with similar enterprise data integration platforms.Proficiency in SQL and Python.Strong knowledge of distributed data processing tools such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their associated data services.Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake or Amazon Redshift.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues independently.
