About the Role
Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.
The District Project and Constructure Project Manager assists and is responsible as directed, with the day to day project management of capital works projects up to $10 million for the LHD. The position assists in managing the activities of stakeholders to ensure allocated capital projects are fit-for-purpose and pose the least disruption to clinical and other services through ensuring broad collaboration in planning. This position is a district role and at times will be required to start or finish at different facilities within the district.

Ideal Candidate
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in building or project management in a healthcare environment.
- Working knowledge and experience in leading capital project delivery.
- Excellent planning skills including expert level knowledge of design processes and facility planning in a health care service, preferably with experience working within the Ministry of Health Process of Facility Planning.
- High level report writing skills especially in the production of detailed technical reports and briefs regarding capital infrastructure procurement and the ability to use word processing, spreadsheet and project management software associated with the delivery of capital infrastructure projects.
- Holds a current NSW driver licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
