SA Operations Manager- Community Services
We are seeking a South Australia Operations Manager – Community Services to join our senior leadership team. This role is responsible for leading and growing Your Nursing Agency and Alpha Support at Home community-based service streams, which are part of the Torrens Health Group. With a strong focus on expanding and optimising our disability and aged care programs primarily in Support at Home, Department of Veteran Affairs, National Disability Insurance Scheme, Supported Independent Living and Supported Disability Accommodation.
You will oversee all community care operations in South Australia including Victor Harbor, while developing strategic client and stakeholder relationships to drive sustainable business growth. The role is instrumental in ensuring service quality, compliance, and operational excellence across both aged care and disability programs.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager you will work collaboratively with national and local teams to strengthen service delivery models and expand community service programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and grow community service programs across Support at Home, National Disability Insurance Scheme, Supported Independent Living, Supported Disability Accommodation and Department of Veteran Affairs service streams.
* Oversee operational delivery, workforce recruitment, onboarding and workforce placement strategies.
* Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred services aligned with regulatory and accreditation standards.
* Drive operational, clinical, financial and service delivery key performance indicators across community programs.
* Identify and implement growth opportunities within Support at Home and disability service markets.
* Maintain risk, quality management and compliance across all service streams.
* Lead commercial performance including tenders, client engagement and contract growth.
* Maintain national accreditation and regulatory compliance across aged care and disability services.
* Contribute to strategic planning, policy development and service innovation initiatives.
* Build and lead high-performing multidisciplinary teams while maintaining sustainable margins and risk mitigation.
* Represent Your Nursing Agency and ASAH within industry forums, committees and stakeholder networks.
* Participate in on-call roster, national travel and other duties as required.
About You
* Relevant qualifications in Health, Community Services, Management or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated commercial and leadership experience of 3-5 years within disability (NDIS) and aged care (SAH) community healthcare sectors.
* Strong understanding of National Disability Insurance Scheme frameworks and aged care Support at Home programs.
* Proven experience in workforce leadership, safety and risk management, and quality improvement.
* Experience leading diverse teams within complex, multi-service healthcare environments.
* Highly developed stakeholder engagement, relationship building and conflict resolution skills.
* Energetic, adaptable and solutions-focused with strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
* Current Driver's Licence, Working with Children Check and National Disability Insurance Scheme Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
