We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our team based in our Fremantle office, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. This role will be responsible for supporting the overall financial accounting processes of the group. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for all banking compliance activities including quarterly covenant reporting and adherence to treasury policies and procedures. This position is a full-time fixed term contract role for a 12-month period.

Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of the annual financial statements for the consolidated group
* Coordination of interim and annual audit processes in conjunction with the Group Financial Controller
* Prepare technical accounting papers supporting positions and a transactions as required
* Support month end, budget and forecasting processes across the group
* Support hedge instrument accounting and hedging strategies as required
* Support FX processes including raising FX positions in accordance with Treasury policies and procedures
* Support the Corporate Accountant in preparation of various taxation compliance obligations within the group
* Support tax effect as part of annual statutory accounts
About you:
* Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
* Advanced Financial accounting experience
* Advanced Technical accounting experience in interpreting accounting standards
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
