Job Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced individual to oversee the operations of our logistics centre.
* Ensure all occupational health and safety policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
* Maintain efficient processes, monitor performance, and improve productivity along the supply chain.
* Manage day-to-day operations in line with set key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Maintain the highest level of accuracy when selecting stock.
* Maintain 'on-time-in-full' order execution by regularly monitoring and maintaining delivery schedules.
* Ensure a clean and safe working environment is maintained at all times.
* Alert sales and management of any service failures and outline remedial action taken.
* Maintain high security standards on stock to prevent unauthorized access to the warehouse.
* Educate and train operators in the use of warehouse management systems and RF equipment.
* Maintain the condition and presentation of stock.
* Verify that actual stock levels match system data.
This role involves overseeing daily activities, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the integrity of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics operations, occupational health and safety procedures, and effective inventory management practices. They will also be skilled in managing relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales and management teams.
