About the role
Depending on your experience and interests, your work may include:
· Advising clients in Wills & Estates (wills, powers of attorney, enduring guardianships, estate administration and disputes).
· Acting on residential and commercial property transactions, leasing and related property matters.
· Assisting clients with a range of Family Law issues, including parenting, property settlements and related negotiations.
· Managing your own files with appropriate supervision and support.
· Drafting clear, accurate advice, correspondence and court documents.
· Attending client conferences, mediations and, where appropriate, court appearances.
· Contributing to business development and community relationships in the region.
About you
We are looking for someone who:
· Has at least 2 years PAE in private practice.
· Has experience in Wills & Estates, Property Law or Family Law (experience in more than one area will be highly regarded).
· Is client-focused, commercially aware and able to communicate clearly and professionally.
· Is organised, proactive and comfortable managing competing deadlines.
· Works well both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
· Is keen to develop their skills and career in a reputable regional firm.
