What You'll Do:
Role Summary
The Security / WAF Engineer is the control-plane owner for PCI compliance, responsible for implementing, configuring, and evidencing application-layer security controls. This role leads Imperva WAF delivery, client-side security (CSP), and PCI DSS 4.0 remediation, working directly with security stakeholders and auditors to achieve PCI sign-off.
What you will bring:
Key Responsibilities
● Own and deliver PCI DSS 4.0 security controls, with a focus on:
○ Requirement script management and change detection)
○ Requirement client-side security monitoring)
● Configure and manage Imperva WAF, including:
○ Policy configuration and tuning
○ Traffic inspection and rule optimisation
○ Client-side monitoring capabilities
● Design and implement Content Security Policy (CSP) strategies:
○ Initial discovery and baseline
○ Report-only deployment
○ Gradual enforcement rollout
● Manage JavaScript inventory across applications, including:
○ Script ownership tracking
○ Change detection
○ Alert tuning and false-positive reduction
