**About the role**:
- Develop and implement strategic land use strategies aligned with Council and State policies, community values, and future needs.
- Assess environmental, social, and economic factors and impacts to inform land use planning.
- Prepare, review, and amend planning instruments, codes, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act and the Local Government Act.

- **We are seeking**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban and Regional Planning or related discipline.
- Eligibility for Corporate Membership of the Planning Institute of Australia.
- Previous experience in strategic and land use planning desirable.
- Previous experience in planning policy development and implementation desirable.
