THE OPPORTUNITY
Location: Lance Creek, Victoria
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT professional to join our organisation as a Single Site Manufacturing IT Site Lead. You will oversee and manage all IT-related activities at our manufacturing facility. This includes on-floor technology systems as well as networks and servers that support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both on-floor technology and infrastructure management, with a focus on driving operational efficiency, maintaining system uptime, ensuring data security, and implementing ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) and ITSM (IT Service Management) best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of on-floor technology systems, such as production monitoring systems, automated equipment, and data collection devices.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand manufacturing processes and requirements, and ensure that on-floor technology solutions align with operational needs.
* Support and maintain the network and server infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
* Collaborate with the corporate IT team to align local infrastructure with global standards and policies.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to on-floor staff, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
* Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base and documentation for on-floor technology systems, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices.
* Train and educate end-users on the proper use and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
* Implement ITIL and ITSM best practices to streamline IT service delivery and support processes.
* Ensure compliance with ITIL framework and continually improve IT service quality and efficiency.
ABOUT YOU
Experience / Qualifications Required
* Proven experience in managing on-floor technology systems within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, and related technologies.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes and systems, such as SCADA, MES, and ERP.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
* Understanding of data security principles and best practices.
* Experience implementing ITIL and ITSM frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
