We are partnering with a high-growth, specialist investment firm with offices in Sydney and North America on an Investment Associate role in their Sydney office.
Our client focusses on growth and early‐stage private equity investments across food & agriculture, industrial decarbonisation and energy transition with a climate‐first focused investment thesis. Backed by leading institutional investors including top‐tier superannuation funds and strategic corporate partners, the firm has grown rapidly since inception and is deploying capital across Australia and North America.
The Role
As an Investment Associate, you will work directly with senior investment professionals on the full deal lifecycle, from origination and due diligence through to execution, portfolio management and exits.
Responsibilities include:
* Financial modelling, valuation analysis and investment memo preparation
* Sector research and opportunity assessment across climate solution verticals
* Coordination of due diligence workstreams (legal, technical, financial)
* Ongoing portfolio monitoring and value‐creation initiatives
* Engagement with founders, advisors, co‐investors and LPs
About You
* 2–4 years' experience in investment banking or private equity with exposure to infrastructure, energy or industrials sectors
* Strong financial modelling skills and comfort with complex deal structures
* Intellectually curious with genuine interest in climate, energy transition or natural capital
* Excellent written and verbal communication; able to synthesise complex information concisely
* High initiative; comfortable operating with autonomy in a lean, entrepreneurial environment
