Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Assistant Site Manager to join our team in a site-based role.

This project offers an exciting experience in a dynamic construction environment with opportunities for continued employment beyond the initial twelve-month contract.

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Site Manager in the overall management of the site, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest quality and within the allocated timeframe.
* Coordinate a diverse range of job roles, providing leadership and guidance as needed.
* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and maintain accurate records.
* Monitor and report on site progress, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
* Develop and implement effective plans to meet project deadlines.
* Maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills:

* Construction related qualification (i.e. HNC/HND) and/or has a relevant trade qualification
* Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS or SSSTS)
* GCSE or equivalent Grade C or above in English Language, Literacy and Numeracy
* Proven and recent experience as an Assistant Site Manager or Supervisor within a construction environment
* Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively coordinate a diverse range of job roles
* Good problem solving skills
* Competent in the use of a range of IT packages
* Accomplished in Health & Safety legislation and compliance
* Self-motivated and proactive
* Positive attitude and the ability to integrate and be an active part in the team
* Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines
* Willingness to undertake training programmes as deemed necessary by the Company
* Keen to pursue personal development needs and maintain up to date knowledge

Working Conditions:

This is a full time position and contracted hours of work will be 39 hours per week. This will also involve daily travel and working away as deemed necessary for the needs of the business.

07:45hrs to 16:30hrs Monday to Thursday

07:45hrs to 15:30hrs Friday
