Senior Clinician Alcohol and other Drugs

What You'll Be Doing
As the Senior AOD Clinician, you will assist young people and their families where the use of drugs and/or alcohol is impacting their emotional, psychological and physical wellbeing.
You will take a lead and coordinate the understanding of drug and alcohol use in young people and the impact of these substances on broader systems. In this role you will work collaboratively with senior clinicians, team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to improve communication with families, solve problems and create better family functioning through a family‑centred practice.
You will plan integrated approaches with Child and Youth clinicians to improve outcomes and experiences for people living with mental illness and substance use or addiction.
In addition, you will hold a small caseload and provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and case management to infants, children, adolescents and young people up to 25 years old presenting with behavioural, emotional, psychiatric or developmental difficulties.
What We Need From You
* Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and membership with the appropriate professional body (Nurses & Midwifery Board/Occupational Therapy Board/Psychology Board via AHPRA, or AASW)
* Minimum of 5 years' experience (minimum 7 years for OT & SW)
* Appropriate work visa
* Current Victorian Driver's License
* Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one and to undergo a Background Check
