Ozcom Technology Group is seeking a Technical Support Officer (EDU) Technician (part-time or full time position available) to deliver ICT support services onsite to our education clients throughout Victoria. (metro and regional).
As a Technical Support Officer (EDU), you will be required to support our early childhood learning centres + schools and corporate users onsite as part of our Information and Communication Technology (ICT) managed services. this is an opportunity to expand your IT skills in various areas (including Servers, Network Switching, iPad Management, Chrome OS, Windows, Mac OSX).
Key Roles
* Working directly onsite with schools to support our managed services offering and providing technical support to staff/students/guests
* Maintain and provide user support for all Windows Desktop Computing and peripheral equipment, including Desktops, Printers, Scanners, Video Conferencing.
* Maintain and provide user support for all Apple Devices, including iMacs, MacBook's, iPads using MDM Software
* Monitor and log incident and service requests within operations software and escalating where necessary.
* Installation of new equipment at customer sites.
* Local Area Network (LAN) Administration.
* Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
* Work under guidance of our Management Dept. and Service Delivery Manager
* Supporting (with guidance) the deployment and support of Department ICT projects and government initiatives.
* Understanding of core services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS & Print as well as cloud solutions such as Google Apps, Papercut.
* Windows Server Technologies
* Ability to troubleshoot and fault find through systematic processes of observation and elimination.
* Able to document technical procedures and follow documentation of others.
* Handle a range of concurrent jobs and changing priorities.
