As a Digital Mentor, you'll receive training through the nationally recognised Be Connected Young Mentors Program, equipping you with the skills to support older adults in one-on-one or small group settings.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the Young Mentors Program training (approx. 5 hours total)
Provide friendly, respectful and patient digital support to older adults
Assist with common digital tasks such as using email, accessing apps, online safety, video calling, and social media
Help build the confidence and independence of older people in a safe and supported environment
Maintain confidentiality and follow all safeguarding procedures
Attend scheduled mentoring sessions in your local community or aged care facility
