About therole
We're looking an experienced Maintenance Officer (Mechanical) to join our team atour Bowmans group. In this hands on role, you'll carry outmechanical servicing, repairs, and upgrades across a variety offixed and mobile plant.
As a keymember of the Maintenance and Engineering team, you'll beresponsible for day to day mechanical tasks that keep our equipmentoperating safely, reliably, and efficiently. You'll alsocontribute to safe work practices and support coordination of tasksacross different trades when required. Your mechanical knowledgeand ability to respond quickly to breakdowns will play an importantpart in maintaining plant availability and ensuring smoothoperations.

Duties
* Responsible forfault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, diesel andpneumatic systems.
* Complete allmaintenance within the manufacturers, suppliers or contractorsrecommended time frames
* Support thementoring, development and progress of Apprentices whereapplicable
* Participate in rootcause analysis and failure trend monitoring
* Ensure accurate andtimely CMMS record keeping and reporting
* Support food safety,workplace safety, and quality compliancerequirements
* Assist inidentifying, planning and executing projects to improve sitesafety, efficiency and reliability
Aboutyou
* Demonstratedexperience in a maintenance role
* Sound knowledge ofmaintenance systems and spare parts management
* Experience workingin grain handling or bulk commodities (desirable)
* Ability to work atheights and in confined spaces
* Strong safety, foodsafety and quality focus
