About the Role
We are based in Rockhampton, Mackay and Townsville and currently have a vacancy for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in the Mackay area. This position is full time Monday to Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Oversee quoting, pricing structures and job margins
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations & best practices
* Maintain equipment, stock levels, and supplier relationships
* Support, mentor & train employees at a high standard
* Collaborate with office staff to maintain smooth workflow and resolve issues
* Daily liaison with the team and foster a positive and productive team culture
* Manage the P&L, including meeting targets for cash flow, margins, and overheads
* Ensure that all executed jobs align to our mission statement, vision, and values
About You
You are required to have the following but not limited to:
* Proven work experience as an Operations Manager (min of 3 years)
* Strong leadership and management skills
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in a trade business or related industry is preferred
