The Chance
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Functional Assessor to join our team on a full-time basis working Monday to Friday to provide and undertake physical capacity assessments and administration support relating to WHS and our recruitment process. This is a dual role with variety, and we are prepared to train the right person to ensure a perfect fit for our team.
About the Role
* Coordinate and undertake functional assessments and analyse medical reports
* Train staff and employees in manual handling
* Assess the client worksite to assess the physical requirements of a job in the workplace
* Conduct Safety Site Inspections
* Assist with Injury Management and RTW
* Consultation with management, staff, and clients regarding functional assessment results and requirements
* Maintaining the functional assessment procedures and documentation
* May include support for the Recruitment Team
To be successful you will need the following
* Qualifications in Health Sciences & Allied Health (Degree) in one of the below, or similar
* Physiotherapy
* Occupational Therapy
* Exercise Physiology
* Exercise Science (Exercise Sports Science)
* Registered Nurse
Skills
* Intermediate Microsoft office capabilities
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* The ability to work well in a fast-paced workplace
* An effective problem solver
* A proactive approach
* Strong organisational and time management skills
