About the role
Are you an experienced Executive Chef or Head Chef looking to showcase your creative culinary and inspiring leadership skills within a unique, high end luxury hotel environment?
Reporting to the General Manager, you will be accountable for the operations of the entire culinary division, managing all aspects of daily operations to ensure the highest standards of culinary experiences.
This role will draw on your culinary flare and hospitality knowledge. This is a fun and truly unique opportunity and the perfect time as we begin to prepare for opening of our luxury lodges! This is not your standard Executive Chef role - this is as unique as the environment you will be operating in!
This is both a strategic but very much a hands on role, leading and supporting your team of talented chefs, dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences from the restaurant, to our luxury tents to sundowner locations and everything in between!
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Leading the kitchen operation, ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction and a menu reflective of the places we operate in.
* Maintaining levels of stock and inventory; ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked with quality ingredients that reflect 'the place'.
* Full operational leadership including mentoring, guiding and supporting the team operation.
* Engage with guests, addressing any feedback or incorporating any feedback into menu design.
* Compliance with HACCP and implementation of food hygiene practices.
About you

Successful candidates must have:
* Trade qualified with experience at Executive Chef or Head Chef level
* Must have previous experience in premium venues, managing multiple outlets and cross functional teams
* Experience in a commercial kitchen with proven success in driving Sustainability/ HACCP / Food Safety / WHS and QA
* A flair and passion for innovative concepts which attract guests to experience our products
* A self starter and natural leader, you will excel at developing a team
