Introduction About the role The Training Specialist is responsible for delivering high-quality product and sales training on behalf of Samsung Electronics Australia Pty Ltd (the client) within the Consumer Electronics (CE) Division. The role’s primary focus is to plan, coordinate, and facilitate engaging training experiences for retail sales professionals and the Samsung NSW/ACT field team, ensuring strong product knowledge, confidence, and advocacy across key categories (e.g., TV, audio, home appliances). In addition, the role may also be required to support key training events, facilitate product briefings, and deliver training to internal Samsung teams and media, representing the Samsung brand in a professional and knowledgeable manner. About you Ability to develop strong technical knowledge across Consumer Electronics, including TV, audio, and home appliances; existing expertise is an advantage Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships across both internal and external audiences Confident facilitator with the ability to deliver engaging training and apply basic adult learning principles Actively seeks, receives, and applies constructive feedback to enhance training effectiveness Strong attention to detail, with excellent communication and presentation skills Well organised with the ability to plan store visits, manage time independently, and balance multiple priorities Able to think creatively and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to deliver engaging training experiences Experience in retail sales and merchandising is advantageous Willingness to travel regionally and interstate and work flexible hours as required Qualifications: Relevant experience in training, facilitation, or coaching; formal qualifications are not essential Exposure to retail, sales, consumer electronics, or communications environments is advantageous Technical: Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to develop in-depth knowledge across Consumer Electronics categories (TV, AV & Home Appliances) Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, with the ability to create clear and engaging training materials Essential: Valid driver’s license Own registered and appropriately insured vehicle Willing to travel While working with Cheil you’ll receive competitive remuneration, extensive parental leave for primary caregiver, up to 50% discounts on Samsung products, continued professional development opportunities, and a collaborative working environment.
