Secure Desktop Environment Engineer
We are seeking a talented Secure Desktop Environment Engineer to join our team in a hands-on engineering role.
In this position, you will design, implement and maintain Standard Operating Environments (SOEs) and modern application control solutions using technologies such as Microsoft WDAC, AppLocker, Ivanti, Carbon Black and Airlock.
This role involves blending technical depth with practical delivery to build secure baselines, manage allowlisting policies and ensure environments align with Essential Eight and NIST frameworks.
Your Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain secure SOEs across enterprise EUC environments;
* Implement and tune application control solutions (WDAC, AppLocker, Ivanti, Airlock, Carbon Black);
* Deploy and manage policies via MECM or similar tools;
* Analyse software usage patterns for potential security risks;
About You: To be successful in this role you will need strong knowledge of Windows OS hardening standards security frameworks. Your ability to troubleshoot compatibility policy issues document complex technical topics clearly is essential. Experience in endpoint system engineering is highly desirable but not required - we offer excellent training opportunities for the right candidates.
