Customer Service Representative

PERSOL is proud to partner with a leading organisation at the forefront of genomics, animal science, and agricultural innovation to recruit a Customer Service Representative for a permanent full-time opportunity. Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you'll play a key role in helping customers navigate genomic testing services that support the future of Australia's livestock industry.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you'll become a trusted point of contact for customers throughout their testing journey. From processing orders and coordinating sample submissions to managing customer enquiries and delivering results, you'll ensure a seamless customer experience every step of the way. This is a varied role that combines customer service, administration, data management, and stakeholder engagement, offering plenty of opportunity to learn, develop, and grow your career.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email
* Process customer orders and sample submissions accurately and efficiently
* Coordinate sample kits and collection devices for customers across Australia
* Manage customer enquiries relating to testing, turnaround times, results, and orders
* Maintain customer records and assist with customer setup in SAP and Salesforce
* Support sales and marketing teams with administrative activities
* Investigate and resolve customer issues, credits, and complaints
* Contribute to process improvements and assist with maintaining training documentation
* Collaborate closely with internal teams across multiple business divisions

You're a proactive and organised professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You have a genuine passion for customer service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes ownership of your work, and thrives on delivering great outcomes for customers.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in customer service, administration, or a similar support role
* Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
* Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
* Experience using SAP and/or Salesforce will be highly regarded
* Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively
* Exposure to the agricultural, livestock, or animal science sectors is advantageous but not essential
