About the Role

As a Work Health & Safety Coordinator, you will provide expert advice and operational support to leaders and teams, helping to drive a proactive safety culture and reduce workplace risks.

You'll take a hands-on approach to WHS coordination, working closely with managers to implement effective safety systems, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with legislation and NSW Health standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality WHS advice and support to managers and staff
* Analyse incident data, identify trends, and recommend improvements
* Coordinate WHS audits and develop action plans to address risks Support incident investigations and risk management strategies
* Deliver WHS training and promote a strong safety culture
* Collaborate with stakeholders, including HSRs and WHS committees
* Contribute to continuous improvement and compliance initiatives

About You

You are a proactive and influential WHS professional who can engage stakeholders at all levels and drive meaningful change.

You will bring:

* Relevant qualifications in WHS (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience in WHS within a complex or diverse organisation
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and standards
* Proven ability to implement WHS programs and initiatives
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to analyse data and translate insights into action
* A collaborative approach with strong organisational skills
