The Opportunity
Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a motivated Junior Lawyer to join our Dispute Resolution team. This role offers exposure to a diverse range of high-quality litigation work, including complex disputes across commercial, civil, and regulatory areas. You will work closely with the team’s principal and other experienced lawyers within the team, benefiting from a strong emphasis on mentorship and hands-on involvement in all stages of litigation.

Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in the preparation and management of litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence.
- Conducting legal research, analysing evidence, and preparing advice for clients.
- Attending court hearings, mediations, and client meetings alongside senior team members.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop case strategies and achieve optimal results.
- Contributing to the firm’s knowledge-sharing initiatives and professional development activities.
- The position will involve working across our Ballarat and Geelong offices, with flexibility to support work-life balance.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with 0-2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE). Prior experience in litigation or dispute resolution is advantageous but not essential; we prioritise candidates with a strong commitment to excellence and a willingness to learn.
