The Opportunity
We are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our Cremorne office, focusing on the Automotive & Manufacturing sector.
This is a sales-driven, relationship-focused role where you will learn to build and manage your own recruitment desk from the ground up.
You will work directly with Managing Director, Tavis Shearer (25+ years industry experience) and receive hands‐on training, real responsibility, and clear progression pathways.
What You'll Be Doing
* Source, screen, and place candidates across Automotive & Manufacturing roles
* Build and develop relationships with new and existing clients
* Manage the full 360 recruitment lifecycle (candidate + client ownership)
* Proactively win new business through calls, networking, and referrals
* Utilise JobAdder, LinkedIn, and digital sourcing tools to identify talent
* Provide consultative advice to clients on market trends and hiring needs
* Maintain strong candidate pipelines and CRM data integrity
* Deliver a high level of service, communication, and follow-up
