As a Senior Data Center Capacity Delivery Manager you will embed with project teams responsible for delivering leased and partnered data center capacity. You will lead partners to deliver on the fastest possible schedule while maintaining a safe construction site and protecting quality.
You'll validate deal readiness, coordinate complex stakeholder relationships, maintain regular reporting and status tracking, and ensure seamless transitions from project inception through operational readiness.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape how Anthropic secures and activates the compute infrastructure needed to train and deploy frontier AI systems, working at the intersection of real estate, construction, and cutting‐edge AI infrastructure.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and shape project site culture, approach, and aggressiveness.
* Develop and enhance the skillsets of partners, contractors, and key trades.
* Confirm deal readiness and serve as gatekeeper to validate transaction viability.
* Partner with landlords and developers post‐deal and coordinate construction progress.
* Represent Anthropic in key technical and operational decisions required by partners.
* Drive seamless handoffs to operational state, enabling rapid workload turn‐ups.
* Prepare and present regular executive reporting on progress versus plan.
* Identify and mitigate risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
* Develop and refine standardized processes and playbooks for facility delivery.
You may be a good fit if you:
* Have 8+ years of experience leading site delivery of data center projects or infrastructure deployment in Australia.
* Have a strong understanding of the end‐to‐end data center development process, including entitlements, permitting, planning, supply chain, execution, commissioning, and handover.
* Understand the nuances of data center design and construction in Australia, including contractual norms and incentives for accelerated delivery.
* Can operate independently on‐site, developing approaches with minimal oversight.
It's a bonus if you:
* Understand AI/ML infrastructure requirements, including high‐density power and advanced cooling systems.
* Have held leadership positions (General Superintendent, Project Manager) within a GC or EPC on hyperscale data center projects or in self‐performance.
* Prioritize extreme ownership and create winning cultures across job sites.
* Are deeply familiar with lease negotiations, construction contracts, or real estate development processes and can move arrangements toward collaborative, incentive‐aligned delivery.
Logistics
Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Required field of study: Relevance to the role demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience.
Minimum years of experience: Positioned at the internal job level requirements.
Location‐based hybrid policy: Staff must be in the office at least 25% of the time, with some roles requiring more time onsite.
