Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Allied Health Receptionist to fill a part-time position in our Torquay clinic.
This role offers 19 hours of work per week, split across Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing phone, email, and in-person enquiries with warmth and professionalism.
* Scheduling, confirming, and coordinating patient appointments
* Processing payments accurately through HICAPS, Medicare, Tyro Health, and EFTPOS
* Maintaining patient records and managing health fund claims in Cliniko
* Submitting third-party provider rebates (TAC, DVA, WorkCover, GPMP/EPC)
* Supporting practitioners with daily administrative needs
* Monitoring stock, coordinating product orders, and overseeing laundry
* Maintaining clinic presentation and ensuring treatment rooms are well-prepared
Required Skills and Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in a similar role.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments and managing patient records
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Experience with Cliniko and other relevant software
