As an influential leader, you will be encouraged to make a positive contribution to the internal and external site teams, and you will be a part of the growth of the national business.
You will be responsible for a variety of duties such as;
* Manage on-site works of projects from initial site set up to completion.
* Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements.
* Oversee the project site, plant & equipment are maintained and in working order
* Effective cost control and running of projects to meet project deadlines and budgets
* Coordinate direct labour, labour-hire and subcontractors.
* Liaise with Subcontractor Supervisors to ensure the efficient and appropriate delegation of work activities.
* Complete project progress reporting and weekly meetings.
* Provide advice on any technical, trade or engineering issues (if applicable)
* Drive problem-solving and lead in developing innovative solutions
About You
* Previous Building Refurbishment & Marine experience will be highly regarded
* Experience in maintaining and promoting health and safety in the workplace
* Construction white card
* Management of Subcontractors and Direct internal labour
* Preparation and tracking of 2 weekly lookahead programs
* Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines
* Current drivers licence
* Communication with stakeholders
* Expertise in site management and delivery, budgeting, stakeholder and subcontractor management, documentation and approvals
* Trade certification and/or construction management qualifications
