In this role, you will oversee the efficient and cost-effective management of housing assets, playing a critical part in delivering comprehensive property services to regions and overseeing the delivery of maintenance services such as scoping, compliance inspections, and work order management.
Responsibilities include planning and managing inspections, services, and performance programs, as well as coordinating the development of quarterly maintenance works programs. This will involve building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders and contractors, ensuring effective contract management and resolving project conflicts or delivery issues promptly.
You will lead a team of Asset Performance Officers, guiding them in their roles, managing workload allocations, and overseeing staff performance and professional development. Additionally, you will oversee estimating and negotiation processes with contractors, ensuring compliance with government standards and initiating abatement action for substandard work.
This role involves contributing to compliance, risk, and performance management programs, monitoring program delivery to ensure adherence to timelines and budgets. Financial forecasting and expenditure review are also critical components of this position, contributing to successful program outcomes.
