ABOUT THE COMPANY & PROJECT

As both developer and builder, we manage the full project lifecycle in-house. This gives our team unparalleled access across all levels of the project, from site operations and construction finance through to sales, settlement, and investor reporting. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Oversee accounts payable and manage day-to-day banking and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management accounts and execute month-end close processes
• Deliver financial reporting and budget vs actual variance analysis
• Oversee subcontractor claims
• Process monthly end-to-end payroll and superannuation via Xero
• Liaise with the external accounting firm and assist with year-end tax return preparation
• Assist with project finance including cost tracking and WIP reporting
• Support statutory compliance including BAS, IAS, PAYG, payroll tax, insurance, and WorkCover
ABOUT YOU
• At least 4 years' experience in a professional services or commercial accounting environment
• CPA or CA qualified — or well progressed in your CPA/CA studies
• Xero experience is essential
• Jobpac experience will be highly regarded
• Payroll experience is essential
• Experience or knowledge within the industrial sector will be a distinct advantage
• Strong Excel skills and sound understanding of Australian tax compliance
• A proactive mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously
• Mandarin language skills are advantageous given our international stakeholder relationships, however this is not a requirement for the role
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is a full-time, permanent, on-site position in Gold Coast, reporting directly to the CFO. You will take ownership of a broad range of accounting and payroll functions across a live, complex, high-value development.
