Salary

A$77,200 - $110,143 per annum + superannuation, vehicle options, laptop, phone, and up to $10,000 bonus for increased billable time.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to provide life‑changing therapy to NDIS participants. No two days will be the same, working in diverse settings ranging from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces and community centres.


Key Responsibilities

* Utilise assessment and intervention skills to support participants in achieving their goals and maxising NDIS funding.
* Build meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).
* Develop and implement behaviour support plans using function‑based strategies and a positive behaviour support framework.
* Conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA).
* Collaborate within interdisciplinary teams to address complex behavioural challenges.
* Attend weekly team meetings at the hub to share stories of impact, coffee and laughs.
* Tap into the knowledge and support of the Team Leader and dedicated Therapy Mentor.


Qualifications

* Relevant tertiary qualification (, Masters or Graduate Diploma) and relevant registration as follows:
o If you are an Occupational Therapist – degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration.
o If you are a Speech Pathologist – degree in Speech Pathology and SPA registration.
o If you are a Social Worker – degree in Social Work and AASW membership.
o If you are a Mental Health Nurse – degree in Nursing and AHPRA registration.
o If your degree is in Psychology, Psychological / Social Science or related field.


Additional Requirements

* Evidence of being deemed a Behaviour Support Practitioner by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (letter required).
* Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
* A positive and flexible approach to work.
* Strong communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
* Commitment to personal and professional growth.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check.
* Working with Children Check.
