About the Role
This position involves managing Defence aviation materiel, ensuring compliance with safety policies and procedures. You will be responsible for handling store and distribute goods, performing inventory checks, and maintaining accurate stock recording methods.
You will also support Disposal recommendations, action as required, and collaborate with warehouse team members to achieve common goals.
Responsibilities
* Supply Chain Management: Contribute to the business growth strategy by effectively managing Defence aerospace Foreign Military Sales FMS supply chain management systems.
* Warehouse Operations: Ensure compliance with BDA and ADF safe warehouse operation policy's, handling store and distribute Defence aviation materiel.
* Inventory Control: Perform inventory checks, maintain accurate stock recording methods in accordance with Defence supply policy, and support the development of mitigation plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting the supply chain.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse team members in all activities arising from this role.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you will require demonstrated experience in Defence aerospace Foreign Military Sales FMS supply chain management, Defence warehousing and distribution systems, and methodologies. You must have a working knowledge of the Australian Defence Force Electronic Supply Chain Manual and the application of warehousing principles. Additionally, a strong working knowledge of Defence Aviation Logistic IT systems such as ERP SAP is essential.
Australian citizenship is mandatory due to Defence security requirements.
