Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality radiotherapy treatment and planning activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning activities of a high quality.
* Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant centre and across the practice.
* Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
* Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
* Experience with Monaco Treatment Planning System.
* Ability to demonstrate the ability to work in an effective team environment.
* Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
* Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
* Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
