What's the role?
As a Personal Banker with Westpac, you will proactively engage with customers in‐person and over the phone to uncover their financial needs, utilising your expert product knowledge to assist them in achieving their financial goals. You will refer customers to our specialist banking teams such as Home Loans and Business Banking, as well as coach customers on our digital banking offerings. This rewarding role blends sales and customer service and holds accountability for sales and referral targets – all with an uncompromising commitment to empowering our customers to make the most of their money!
This is a part‐time branch‐based role and the hours are 8.45am – 4.45pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am – 4.30pm Fridays.
What do I need?
* Banking experience is ideal, but not essential – your high‐performer energy and unique ability to gauge and nurture strong customer relationships will be key to driving your success
* Strong experience in a customer‐facing / phone‐based sales role
* Resilience, tenacity, and an ability to flex – no two days and no two customers are ever the same!
* Proven experience of achieving performance KPIs with an uncompromising commitment to delivering an exceptional customer service
* Comfortable when working with numbers and adept at navigating multiple systems
