Our client, a billion-dollar international manufacturer of consumer goods, is seeking an experienced Retail Account Development Manager to drive business growth and strengthen retail relationships across Brisbane and regional QLD. 
Responsibilities 
- Account Development: Proactively manage and develop relationships with retail accounts to maximise sales and enhance brand presence. 
- Strategic Planning: Implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets across designated retail accounts. 
- Market Analysis: Conduct a thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activities. Use insights to inform sales strategies and product positioning. 
- Customer Engagement: Foster long-term relationships with key retail partners through regular communication, product training, and support. 
- Sales Execution: Ensure effective execution of sales strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising plans within retail environments. 
- Performance Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, account activity, and market conditions. Provide actionable insights to senior management. 
Qualifications 
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a retail account development role for a wholesale or manufacturing business is required. 
- Skills: Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills. Strong analytical abilities to interpret market data and sales reports. 
- Personal Attributes: Highly motivated, strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset. Excellent organisational and time management skills. 
- Licenses: Current Australian Driver’s License and a explicit background check.
