About The Role
In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Treasury function, ensuring that it runs effectively and efficiently. Reporting to the Treasurer, key responsibilities include:
* Service branch network, relationship managers and corporate clients regarding their foreign exchange needs
* Direct and respond to all correspondence and general enquiries
* Administrative tasks including reconciliations, data entry, filing and processing transactions
* Assist with the monitoring and management of foreign exchange exposure
* Ensure adherence to all risk limits as set out in the Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) and Treasury Risk Management Framework (TRMF)
* Drive continuous improvement across everything we do, including processes and procedures to deliver superior internal and external customer outcomes and deliver efficiencies
* Assist the Treasurer and the Treasury Manager with ad‐hoc tasks, including projects
All About You
We are seeking someone with the following experience/qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in a Banking, Business, Finance and/or Commerce related discipline is desirable
* An understanding of treasury related activities and transactions
* Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal and excellent stakeholder management skills
* Excellent understanding of using Microsoft Excel
* Ability to work autonomously in a fast‐paced environment
* Ability to build relationships across the business, and externally, at relevant levels
* Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of relevant treasury products
