About the Role Based at our Paget workshop on Commercial Avenue, this permanent Machinist role offers flexibility across Day or Afternoon shift. Roster & Location Day or Afternoon shift available Afternoon shift starts at 2:30pm with 24% shift loading Paget, Mackay (Commercial Avenue) Key Responsibilities As a Machinist at Austchrome, you will be involved in the manufacture and reclamation of hydraulic components using a range of precision equipment, including: Manual lathes, horizontal and vertical borers, and cylindrical grinders CNC lathes and horizontal and vertical borers with Fanuc controllers Reading and interpreting complex engineering and CAD drawings Producing components to tight tolerances and exact specifications Performing in-process quality inspections using micrometers and precision measuring tools Collaborating with skilled trades across machining, fabrication, fitting, and plating Maintaining and continuously improving safety standards in line with procedures and work instructions Why Join Austchrome?
