Community Support Worker - Casual WHA3 and WHA4 - Annual Intake

- Salary:

- WHA3 - $29.11 to $29.41 per hour + 25% casual loading

- WHA4 - $29.70 to $30.01 per hour + 25% casual loading

- Casual contracts available up to 31 May 2026

Join Our Team as a Community Support Worker

Are you passionate about supporting individuals to live independently and maintain a fulfilling life at home? We're looking for compassionate and dedicated Community Support Workers to join our team for the 2025/2026 casual intake and make a positive impact on the lives of older, frail, or disabled clients in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including showering, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide domestic support, including household duties such as cleaning and laundry.
- Offer social support by helping with shopping, banking, and medication collection.
- Support clients with mobility, lifting, and using mechanical aids.
- Assist with self-administered medication, routine treatments, and special needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring clients' well-being and dignity.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care.

What We're Looking For:

Please note that this position is multi-classed as either a WHA3 or WHA4 and classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position (WHA4).
- A strong ability to work within a team and engage effectively with clients.
- Excellent communication skills with a diverse range of people.
- A caring, client-focused approach that promotes independence.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and adhere to care plans.
- Experience working with aged, frail, or disabled clients (WHA4).
- Competence in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
